About the painting:
This studio painting was inspired by my visits to Ocean View, Norfolk, Virginia. I have visited this area during plein air events and on multiple occasions on my own. Situated on the Chesapeake Bay, it has the prettiest sunsets and calmly lapping waters along its shoreline.
