Monet's garden in Giverny is beautiful in just about any weather. I seemed to experience a little bit of all of it when I visited and painted there on a trip to Normandy. My favorite part of the gardens was the beautiful lily pond. I loved the deep, rich greens and subtle blues that bounced around here in endless variations.A painter's dream! I painted this piece after my trip, based on studies and photos I made on site.
