This peaceful snow scene along the train tracks is of none other than my town of Ashland, Virginia. It’s really a pretty unique little train town, with a track running through its center creating an interesting history dating back to the Civil War era. It’s pretty all year long, but some of my favorite scenery occurs when it snows, making it look just like a holiday card. This scene depicts the Ashland train stop, in front of a charming little building that was once the train station and now serves as the Visitor’s Center.
