About the painting:
I came upon this scene when I was en route to Moneta, Virginia. Couldn't resist stopping a while to enjoy these sweet horses living the good life in their flower-filled meadow. Small sketches on site and a little photo shoot was about all I had time for that day, but it was enough to develop this painting back home in my studio.
