2 day painting workshop at Jennifer Young Studio & Gallery

While painting the landscape by direct observation in nature is ideal, there is much to be learned from studying landscape painting in the studio. In this studio workshop we focus on the building blocks that help to achieve a strong foundation for your landscape paintings, whether they're created in the studio or en plein air.

Lectures and demonstrations include general oil painting tools and tips, color mixing, and methods to create a strong design and convincing illusion of depth and light through the use of color, composition, value and shape.

The small class size allows for a more in-depth and personalized experience, as well as adequate time for painting and group critique.

Level: Experienced beginner to professional
