Landscape Paintings of Italy
Italy
is a country that captured my heart from the very first moment I put my
foot on its soil. It is filled with gorgeous cities, rolling hills, cypress
trees, and terra cotta rooftops. Don't even get me started on the food!
I have been to Italy many times and have travelled to many of its beautiful
cities. The villages and hill towns are lovely and filled with charm,
and I dream of returning again and again with paints and easel in tow.

About
the Painting:
Several times I have had the great fortune to travel to Italy,
and it has always held a special place in my heart. On a recent
trip, I visited many areas in southern Tuscany, and I was
awed by the beauty and drama of the landscape. This painting
is of the valley of Montalcino, a small town set in the heart
of Tuscany. My vantage is the top of the hill in a vineyard.
I hope you enjoy viewing this piece as much as I enjoyed painting
it!
