Answers
to International Purchasing FAQ's
How
are prices determined?
All of the work is reasonably priced, generally based on
the size of the piece. The prices of the paintings, prints,
and cards I have available are shown on the individual art
detail pages found within this site. Unless otherwise noted,
customers are responsible for insured shipping charges,
plus any other duties or fees levied in the country of the
final destination.

What
form of payments are accepted and how are payments processed?
All international orders are processed using our secure
online money transfer agent, Paypal.

*For

How
is the artwork shipped?
When shipping original paintings and limited edition prints,
we will only ship using methods that allow us to insure
and track the package. Our larger prints are shipped rolled
in crush-resistant tubes. Flat art is carefully packed in
secure shipping containers.
All
artwork is shipped by common carriers such as the U.
S. Postal Service (USPS), Federal
Express and others. Our most commonly used international
shipping method is USPS
Priority Mail International. This is
also often the most economical method for the customer.
In the event that the package exceeds USPS size limitations,
we can ship via another common carrier. If the work is oversized
and unable to be shipped via common carrier, we can make
arrangements to have the artwork professionally packed and
shipped by a service that specializes in packaging and shipping
artwork.

How
Much Does Shipping Cost?
Shipping estimates are determined by the size of the packaged
artwork, insured value, delivery destination, and delivery
method. Please contact us
citing the artwork you are intrested in, and we will be
happy to provide you with a shipping estimate.
Standard
packing & shipping costs are based on the size of the
artwork and the type of packaging necessary. Because framing
adds several inches and additional weight to the overall
picture dimensions, framed art incurs higher packing &
shipping costs than unframed or gallery wrapped artwork.
We do offer a savings for combined shipping if you are purchasing
more than one piece of artwork. Please
contact us for more information. Any shipping costs
are prepaid at the time of purchase.

How
long will it take for my shipment to arrive?
Items that are available in our current inventory at the
studio are usually shipped the following day after payments
are complete. If orders are not in inventory (some of our
giclee prints are special ordered from the printer, for
example) they will require additional time to process.
Actual
delivery time depends on the shipping method used. Additional
delays may occur in some countries if customs requires additional
duties upon arrival. Please check with your local customs
office for more information. Below are some of the delivery
estimates for our most commonly used couriers:

Will
I have to pay customs/taxes on my order?
Custom
taxes, import duty, valued-added tax (VAT), or any additional
customs-related levy is the responsibility of our customers.
We can't make any guarantees or estimation on whether any
shipments will or will not be required to pay customs-related
levy in the destination country. Please contact your local
customs office for more information.
-Back

What
happens if there are banned items in my shipment?
Please
determine any bans or restrictions on your order or delivery
prior to placing your order to your destination country.
Customers should contact their local customs office
for information concerning banned items. We only declare
our packages as containing the actual content and value.
In other words, we won't make false claims about the
contents to save on shipping, duties, or other fees
in the destination country. If for any reason your order
is confiscated by your local customs, we are not responsible
for refund regarding the confiscated item(s).

Can
My Order Be Shipped to a P.O. Box?
Orders require an actual street address cannot be shipped
to a P.O. Box. In most cases the customer would need to
be available to sign for the package and/or accept delivery.

Is
the artwork framed?
Jennifer
offers both gallery wrapped paintings and paintings done
on standard profile canvases. Gallery wrapped canvases have
a 1.5" profile and are painted out to the edges on
all four sides. These paintings are offered unframed, being
complete as they are and ready to hang. You may also frame
them through your own framing source, should you wish to
do so.
The
regular profile paintings are done either on stretched canvas
or canvas-mounted wood panels. You have the option to purchase
these works framed or unframed, unless otherwise noted on
the individual art work pages. In most cases the available
frame is a gallery quality wood frame with a gold metal
leaf finish. Please contact us
to verify what frame offering is available for the painting
you are interested in purchasing. Keep in mind that shipping
costs can be reduced by purchasing the work unframed.
Also, since framing is an important component of how a work
of art is presented (which is largely based on personal
taste), the owner of an art work is often the best person
to select the frame.

Does
the artist accept commissions?
Yes! The best thing to do is to contact
us. We will be happy to discuss your needs by phone
or email and explain our process for commissions.
What
is your return policy?
First, we're delighted that some of Jennifer's collectors
have shared their testimonials
about Jennifer's art and their art buying experience!
Here is our guarantee:
Feedback from our clients
tells us that the actual art work far exceeds the viewing
experience of the images you see online. And while we do
our utmost to display images with clarity and color accuracy,
we realize that viewing art on the web still has its limitations
and challenges. Therefore we are happy to accept returns,
as long as they are initiated within 14 calendar days of
receipt. Artwork must be professionally packed, insured,
and shipped with tracking numbers. Please
contact us prior to returning any items. Artwork
(including any framing) must be received in its original
condition to guarantee a full refund for the purchase price.
Costs for adequate packing, insurance, shipping and any
additonal fees or import/export duties on returned items
are the responsibility of the buyer. Any fees imposed on
us upon receiving the item will be deducted from the refund
amount.

Re
sale and Moral Rights:
The purchaser acknowledges that the artist retains all copyright,
including reproduction rights, on the piece of art. No changes,
including mutilation, are to be made to the art after purchase
of the art without the written consent of the artist. The
art is not to be shown at public exhibition without the
written consent of the artist. Any sale or change of ownership
must be reported to the artist so that the provenance of
the piece of work may be maintained thus assuring its continued
increase in value. Five percent of the gross of any such
increase is payable to the artist. All international laws
regarding the sale and resale of art and copyright apply.
